Fire
Truck Visit
The month of October is Healthy and Safety Month. We have been learning about safety and having fun making sure we stay safe from any harm. We started the month by learning the Tennessee Keeping Kids Safe Curriculum and having our Stranger Danger drill.
This week, we had the Brentwood Fire Department come to visit. The kids were so excited to see the truck, meet the firefighter, and learn
more about what they do. The firefighters allowed the kids to explore the truck
and even sit inside.
Monday, before the arrival of the Fire Department,
every class made Thank You posters for their services. The firemen were more
than grateful for the sweet posters and the hugs and high-fives that were given to them by our
AOPP kiddos. Who knew Health and Safety could be so fun.
