Olaf Visit

Visit from Our Favorite Frozen Character, Olaf!

On Friday our favorite Frozen friend came to visit us. Our little friends were so excited and happy to see Olaf from the movie Frozen.

This visit was the most anticipated visit since the year started. Many of our friends have been asking if Olaf was ever coming. When he finally showed up, it was the best day ever! Thanks Olaf!

Eat Yellow Wear Yellow

 You Are What You Eat!!

Today we wore Yellow and ate Yellow. It was such an awesome turn out.

All month long, every Wednesday, we wear a certain color and eat a certain color food. On the second Wednesday, we wore Orange and ate Carrots. Last Wednesday, we wore Green and ate Broccoli. Today we word Yellow and ate Corn, and next Wednesday, we’ll wear Red and eat Strawberries.

This has been such a great activity and all of our friends have enjoyed every bit of it.

Getting Healthy and Fit

Health and Fitness Month Continues. We have been making so many moves to becoming healthier and more fit all month long. Last week, we had sack races, ate green foods and wore green and had a healthy grab’ n go snack prepared for our families. It’s not just about the fitness of the kids, but all of us together.

Our Preschool 2 class had a blast when it came to sack racing. They jumped and hoped until they all reached the finished line. It was a sight to see.

Eating Green and Wearing Green was a success! Broccoli w/ cheese was oh so yummy!

The Grab’ n Go Snack was a hit as well. Many of our friends enjoyed carrots and ranch.

Snow Inside

No Snow Outside, No Worries!

This winter has been quite warm, but that doesn’t stop us from having some snowy fun inside our classrooms. These types of crafts keep our kids on top of their seasons and looking forward to some snow in real like.

We had a few drizzles in the past, but not enough to stick. Ms. Whitney, our Enrichment Coordinator, brought snow to our classrooms during our enrichment time and our friends started to glow. Our friends were more than excited, they were enthusiastic!

They really showed off their creativity, including bringing ocean and winter animals into the snow. This was an all smile activity and definitely, a must-do, again.
