Holiday Season

Thanksgiving’s Coming Up

Yesterday at AOPP, we had a special guest come to visit our friends. This was the first time we’ve had a guest in November due to so many holiday schedules but since we’ve been limiting the number of guests, we’ve had entered our school all year we’ve been buying costumes for someone to come every month.

Since Thanksgiving is underway, we felt the need to have a turkey come and visit our friends. The turkey was a big hit for our older friends. They were so pleased to see new friends and be able to give “high wings” and lots of hugs.

For some of my little friends, it was a not-so-good experience as they are still trying to figure out the concept of costumed visitors. But it was still so much fun. Can’t wait for Turkey Day!

Featured Teacher- November

 Elena Romero

Every month we have announced a Featured Teacher/Teacher of the Month. This honor and award do not come lightly or easily. Every Featured Teacher is nominated by his/her peers and parents of our school, and awarded a cash prize, a gift, a special parking spot, and bragging rights!

Last night we announced our New Featured Teacher, and it is our AMAZING Infant One Teacher, Ms. Elena! Ms. Elena joined us a while back as the assistant in Infant One and immediately showed leadership, creativity, and just a LOVE for working with kids! In no time she was the lead in Infant One & Infant Three for a minute! She is an All-Star! Her parents have been so pleased with how much their kiddos love her and she pushed those babies to be their very best! She is upholding our motto of creating childhood! We're so happy to have Ms. Elena a part of our AOPP family! She is so deserving of this title!

Happy Halloween

Trunk or Treat

Last Thursday we had our first Trunk or Treat in a while. This was the absolute best event we’ve had this year thus far.

Trunk or Treat was one of our Buzz Activities for the parents and they did such a great job. We had so many parents who wanted to participate, but due to Covid, we social distanced and only allowed for 13 to participate. Our parents went over and beyond with decorations because 1 week’s free tuition was on the line, and everyone wanted it.

Our teachers had to vote for their favorite trunk and the trunk that got the most votes were the Jones Family. They were so pumped to win, and the teachers absolutely loved their creativity, the free snack they gave them, and the candy-free option for the kids.

All the kids had a blast and so did our educators. This will definitely be an annual event.
