It’s that bittersweet time of year! The time when we are both so so proud of our kids who are going to Kindergarten and also so sad to see them grow up and move onto the next step. We held such a sweet ceremony of graduation for 13 of our PreKers. They sang songs for their parents, walked the stage, and received their PreK Diplomas.
The night of graduation day, we continued the celebration with PreK Prom! This year our theme was pirates and mermaids and we went all out with the decorations, food, a live DJ, balloon animals, face painting, magic wands, and pirate hooks.
The kids had such a blast, thought it did take a few songs for the parents to get up and dance, but our DJ really knew how to get everybody moving. Soon enough we had everyone up doing the Cha Cha Slide! I don’t know how we’re going to top this next year!
It’s August! Which means that nominating time is over for Best of Parenting. Thank you to everyone who nominated us! Now it’s voting time! You can still use the QR codes we have up in our enrichment room to vote for us for BOP. Let’s do it!
