Our Teacher of the Month for July is... *drumroll*
...Ms. Deja! Ms. Deja is our Toddler 1 lead teacher. She has been with The Academy for one year. She works with us during her breaks through out the year at Austin Peay State University. She is currently getting her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education along with an associate's in Liberal Arts. She is set to graduate this December. Aside form her current schooling, she has minor degrees in Special Education, Professional Education, and she has a background in teaching English Language Learners.
Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her toddlers and seeing them every day.
A fun fact about Ms. Deja is that she has a blue belt in Taekwondo!
If you see Ms. Deja in the hall, be sure to congratulate her before she leaves again for school!
