National Pumpkin Seed
Day
Today at AOPP, we had National Pumpkin Seed Day and all our older classes were able to dissect pumpkins.
This was the best thing ever and all the classes were
fascinated with the way it felt inside and all our teachers asked them some
open-ended questions to get them to become more detailed.
This was so fun that we had to go further with it and make
Pumpkin Volcanoes. I sat in on Preschool 2’s fun and the kids’ expressions were
very interesting. They all loved the Volcanoes but not so much of the feeling
of the inside of a pumpkin.
