PreK Graduation & Prom

 LUAU TIME

For our PreK Graduation and Prom this year, we had a Luau! This was the first year that we had both events on the same day and it was magical.

 

The graduation started at 6:30pm and it was short and sweet. Our PreK friends walked in, sang their graduation songs, and were awarded their certificates of completion. This year, we also gave our special awards that describe their personalities and who they are as people. These we so sweet and cute.

 

Once the ceremony was over, our parents collected their yearbooks, a grass skirt, and a coconut tree cup and headed outside to the Luau.

 

We have a waterslide, BBQ for dinner, and a cool DJ to keep the tunes going. This was so awesome. All of our parents were thrilled and loved the theme and concept of having them together. This will probably be an ongoing thing for years to come.

Best Of Parenting

The time has come again where we ask that our families, friends, and staff help to vote the Academy of Powell Place for Best of Parenting 2021.

 

Every year Parent Magazine hosts nominations and votes for the Middle Tennessee area to reward the school with the Best of Parenting.

 

Nominations are accepted from July 1^st through July 28, 2021. On August 1^st, we will put the top 10 nominations in each category up for voting. If there were fewer than 10 nominations in a category, we will put up the top five. Voting will continue through August 31, 2021. We will publish the winners here on our website on November 1 and in the November issues of Nashville, Williamson, Rutherford, and Sumner Parent magazines.
