Spring Has Sprung

Spring is in the air at AOPP!  We have made some fun and adorable crafts.  We made umbrellas, rainbow coffee filters, and raindrop sun catchers.  We also had a yummy dirt cup snack.  What is your favorite activity to do during Spring?  What is your favorite part of Spring?

St. Patrick's Day

This week is all about St. Patrick's Day.  We did some fun clover art, made shamrock necklaces, and even drank green milk!  We also made some fun leprechaun traps and had leprechaun bait.
And of course, we had to dress up in green.  What is your favorite Lucky Charm? 

    

    

 

Green Our Scene

This week was all about Green Our Scene!  We did a fun walking rainbow experiment. We also made some fun dirt and insect sensory bins.  Each class also got to plant their own flower.  We also reused pieces of cardboard and turned them into canvases with beautiful creations!  We even had a special guest come talk about community helpers.  What is your favorite flower or plant that you like to grow?

    

                                                  

Dr. Seuss Week

This week was all about celebrating Dr. Seuss!  Monday was pajama day and we read The Sleep Book.  Tuesday, we had parent volunteers come read to the classes.  Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday!  Thursday, we had a very special visit from Cat in The Hat.  We wrapped up the week by dressing as our favorite Dr. Seuss character.  What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book?
